Republic Bank First Friday Trolley Hop

Friday, June 7th
5 – 9 pm

FREE ADMISSION

As part of historic Museum Row, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft is proud to participate in each Trolley Hop on the First Friday of every month with special extended hours until 9pm. Admission during the trolley hop is free and a cash bar will be available. The current exhibits will be closing in June, so the Hop is the perfect time to see them before they’re gone!

Curator Talk with Jessica K. Whitehead

Saturday, June 8th
1 – 2:30 pm

Jessica K. Whitehead received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and English from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. Her senior thesis exhibition in 2011 featured Hubbard’s work and provides the foundation for the exhibit,Kentuckiana Sublime: Harlan Hubbard and New Perspectives on Nature. She will present information on her research findings of Harlan and Anna Hubbard.

Free with Museum Admission.

 

 

Second Sunday Makerspace Art Workshop:  pictureframe

We Heart Dads!

Sunday, June 9th
Drop in between Noon – 3:00 pm

$6 per participant, Free for Museum Members, All ages, all skill levels

Father’s Day is right around the corner. Craft Dad a special picture
frame using found objects. Use your own photo or make a drawing to
insert into this treasured art frame.

School’s Out Drop In Art Workshops

Monday – Friday, June 10th – 14th
Drop in between Noon – 3:00 pm

$6 per participant. Free for Museum Members. No registration necessary

First Week of Summer
School is out for the summer, drop in anytime between noon and 3pm to the 3rd floor education studio for awesome art activities the entire week.
Each day will be a different experience.
