First Friday Trolley Hop

First Friday Trolley Hop will be held on February 3rd 2012! The First Friday Trolley Hop was established in 2001 and has been going strong for more than ten years. The Hop is held on the first Friday of each month, rain or shine, and the trolleys are free and run from 5:00pm to 11:00pm (most galleries close at 9:00pm). The trolleys take participants to various art galleries, restaurants, shops and clubs located along the Main and Market Street corridors. FREE parking is available on the street after 6:00pm, at the Slugger Field, on Main Street at Jackson, and at the 4th St. Live garage after 6:00pm. As part of historic Museum Row, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft is proud to participate in each First Friday Trolley Hop with extended hours (10am to 9:00pm). The Museum offers free admission and fun activities for each hop, such as free workshops, refreshments, and music. We often schedule new exhibit openings to coincide with trolley hops to give visitors the opportunity to be the first to see our new shows.
