Dont have the funds to bring your students to the museum? Then bring the museum to you! Our Mobile Museum Program gives teachers and students the opportunity to explore Kentucky art right in your classroom.  When you order a Mobile Museum, you get a suitcase packed with 8-12 real artworks, plus lesson plans, books, dvds, and other resources. We offer 22 Mobile Museums covering 13 different themes. Themes include:

African-American Art

Art Cars

Basketry

Ceramics

Fiber Arts

Folk Art

Native American Art

Photography

Printmaking

Traditional Craft

Visual Communication

Walking Sticks

Wood Craft

Cost: $35 per suitcase for thirty days (K-8). Teachers must arrange for pick-up and drop-off at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft. Pre-paid shipping is available to and from your school for an additional $35.
