When you become a member of The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, you help celebrate traditional and functional art while promoting the art and craft heritage of Kentucky.You support artists and foster public appreciation of the arts through events and exhibitions.You help give children the opportunity to learn from master craft artists through our educational programs. A visit to the Museum can leave you inspired, rested and restored, and as a member, you'll have a sense of fulfillment because you helped make it all happen.

Membership Benefits and Privileges

Individual: $40
Benefits in this category are designed for one person:

• Free admission to the Museum
• Invitations and free admission to opening receptions and special events, including KMAC's public programming
• 10% discount on purchases in the Museum, everyday
• 20% discount on purchases on the Museum at special events only
• Advance registration for adult educational workshops*
• Invitations to 'Member Only' sales
• KMAC e-newsletter
• Personalized Membership card, valid for one year

Family: $75

All the benefits listed above for two or more persons in the same household, plus:

• A Museum Money discount coupon ($5 value) to be used for a hands-on art workshop 

Patron: $150

All the benefits listed above, plus:

• A Museum Money discount coupon ($30 value) to be used for a hands-on art workshop
• Two free admission guest passes
• One adult art workshop pass ($60 value)

Fellow: $250

All the benefits listed above, plus:

• 20% discount on ONE KMAC Kid Art Camp and Blackacre workshop*
• One free guided tour of the Museum for a group of up to 10 people
• Two additional free admission guest passes
• A handcrafted keepsake created by KMAC artist Melvin Rowe (Pottery Rowe, Louisville)**

Benefactor: $500

All the benefits listed above, plus:

• A year's subscription to American Craft Magazine and an American Craft Council Membership  
• Art studio tours of some of Kentucky's artists
• A total of six free admission guest passes

* These benefits are handled through the Education Department and are subject to availability. 

** The value of the handcrafted keepsake is not tax-deductible.

Artist Membership: $40 (Individual) and $75 (Family)

In addition to regular membership benefits, the Museum's Artist Membership program provides additional benefits that are designed specifically for artists. Some of the benefits include:

• Opportunities to exhibit in the Juried Artist Member exhibits
• Opportunities to participate in KMAC's Corporate Sales program
• Self-listing on Artists' Registration page on KMAC's Web site
• Artist Advisory Council nominating privileges

Corporate Membership: $1,000

KMAC offers your company the opportunity to join the Museum as a Corporate Member. Some of the benefits include:

• Discounts to the Museum's Gallery Shop for your employees
