When you become a member of The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, you help celebrate traditional and functional art while promoting the art and craft heritage of Kentucky.You support artists and foster public appreciation of the arts through events and exhibitions.You help give children the opportunity to learn from master craft artists through our educational programs. A visit to the Museum can leave you inspired, rested and restored, and as a member, you’ll have a sense of fulfillment because you helped make it all happen.

Members enjoy a wonderful array of benefits including exhibition receptions, discounts on programs, special events, Gallery Shop discounts, and special holiday discounts. Members receive notice of Museum happenings and programs offerings.

Individual  - $40 (all tax deductible)

  • Free individual admission to the Museum for one year
  • Free individual admission to KMAC MakerSpace for one year
  • Priority announcements of upcoming exhibits, events, workshops, and lectures
  • Invitation to Members Only receptions and special events
  • 10% discount everyday on purchases in the Sales Gallery

Family/Dual – $75 (all tax deductible)

  • All benefits listed above for two adults and all children under age 18 living in the same household.
  • Two complimentary guest passes to the Museum
  • Discount on KMAC camps and workshops for children

Patron – $200 ($160 tax deductible)*

  • All benefits listed above, plus:
  • Two additional complimentary guest passes to the Museum (total of 4)

Benefactor – $500 ($420 tax deductible)*

  • All benefits listed above, plus:
  • Four additional complimentary guests passes to the Museum (total of 8)
  • One guided exhibition tour with the director or curator for you and up to 10 guests

 Donors Circle Membership

The KMAC Donors’ Circle recognizes the Museum’s most generous contributors (gifts $1,000+) who share a commitment to the mission of supporting and promoting excellence in art, craft, applied arts and design. Through their contributions, Donors’ Circle members ensure the quality of exhibitions and educational programming for tens of thousands of Kentucky residents and visitors to the region annually. Moreover, Donors’ Circle members enjoy the opportunity to connect through unique events and art experiences.

Advocate  – $1,000 – $2,499 (all but $80 tax deductible)*

In addition to receiving all of the many valuable benefits of general museum membership at the Benefactor level, including free admission to the Museum for one year, a discount on purchases in the Sales Gallery, complimentary guest passes to the Museum for sharing, complimentary passes for two KMAC workshops, and a complimentary private guided exhibition tour for you and your guests, Members at the Bronze level will also enjoy:

  • Benefactor level membership benefits
  • Acknowledgement listing on KMAC website and on annual report
  • Invitations to exclusive exhibit previews, gallery talks, and receptions
  • Invitation to private event at a collectors home
  • Invitation to tour the studio of a local or regional artist

Sustainer  – $2,500 – $4,999 (all but $80 tax deductible)*

  • Invitation to annual Donors Circle Dinner

Leader  - $5,000 – $9,999 (all but $80 tax deductible)*

  • All benefits listed above, plus:
  • Sponsorship listing for a KMAC exhibition or program
  • Exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with visiting artists, scholars, and distinguished guests
  • Complimentary use of the Museum for a private event

Visionary  – $10,000+ (all but $80 tax deductible)*

  • All benefits listed above, plus:
  • Name listing on Museum Donor Wall
  • Other benefits to be tailored to each donor
