The Kentucky
Museum of Art + Design is a private, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to continue the art and craft
heritage of Kentucky through education and support of craft artists.
Since 1981 the Foundation has brought the gift of
creativity to thousands of school children across the state and helped
craft artists through conferences and scholarships. We rely on
the generosity of corporations, foundations and individual donors to
help us carry our mission. |

Museum reaches 125,000 people annually through exhibitions and publications, providing insights into the world of Kentucky's
craft artists.
