Bourbon Bash
Now in its 28th year, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft’s Bourbon Bash is one of the oldest gala events in Louisville. Traditionally held at the beginning of October, this event kicks off the charity gala season each year. Held at different venues over its history, the Bourbon Bash features an evening of bourbon tastings by Kentucky’s finest distilleries, artists’ trunk shows, seated dinner, silent and/or live auction, and either dancing or a special performance. This fall, KMAC celebrated its 30th Anniversary in style and raised $90,000 with the Bourbon Bash that brimmed with Kentucky artwork and featured the finest Kentucky bourbons, a Kentucky farm-to-table meal, and a fabulous performance by Kentucky’s own Ben Sollee. All proceeds of the Bourbon Bash support the programming and exhibitions that benefit approximately 100,000 people each year.
