Jewish Hospital Medical Center South
KMAC’s Corporate Sales Department worked closely with Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s Healthcare to provide original artwork for various public areas of Jewish Hospital Medical Center South in Bullitt County, a comprehensive facility that provides 24-hour emergency care, diagnostic imaging, outpatient surgical services and primary care.

Participating artists drew inspiration from nearby Bernheim Forrest. The resulting artwork media includes bronze, steel and various forms of glass all reflecting the regeneration of life through the seasons and represents nature as calming and healing.

Local artists: Fred diFrenzi, Wyatt Gragg, Steve Heine, Bryan Holden, Paul Nelson, Berni North, Erika Strecker and Matt Weir.

University of Louisville Health Care Outpatient Center
KMAC’s Corporate Sales Department joined forces with the University of Louisville Health Care Outpatient Center providing a unique large wall mural made up of four-panel pieces. Artist Clare Hirn used charcoal, acrylics and oil in layers to create a real sense of nature and to shed light on her view of the city. Among its images are bicyclists on the waterfront, the Belle of Louisville, a Cardinal and the downtown skyline.

 

Kosair Children s Medical Center – Brownsboro
KMAC’s Corporate Sales Department partnered with Kosair Children’s Medical Center Brownsboro the only pediatric outpatient center in Metro Louisville or in Kentucky. Louisville artists Shayne Hull and John McCarthy led a series of workshops where children who have a connection with Kosair helped create two large wall art pieces. Brook White, Bryan Holden, Tom Pfannerstill and Shawn Ludwick were commissioned through KMAC to provide original artwork in public areas of the facility. Brownsboro is designed with a layout that is friendly for children, teens, young adults and their families. These elements include vibrant colors and artistic interpretations of streams of air, ribbons of life and rays of light.

Norton s Brownsboro Hospital
KMAC’s Corporate Sales Department partnered with Norton Hospital Brownsboro a full-service community hospital offering a complete range of services. In this facility you will find an installation of a large glass and cooper mobile hanging in the main entrance and two large stained glass windows in the chapel area. Norton’s wanted to create a nurturing environment that integrates local art as well as supplying family-centered care principals so patients and families feel safe providing a comfortable environment which the art is a big part of.
