What’s inside the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft?  Art, shopping, creativity, fun, and friends.  Celebrating traditional and functional art, visitors can view and shop for hand-made items in four exhibition galleries and an award winning gallery shop.  Kentucky, regional and national artists are featured in over 12 exhibitions per year and a Permanent Collection Gallery. Hundreds of Kentucky artists are represented in the Gallery Shop.  Art lovers also can attend exciting hands-on workshops in the Education Center and such great annual events as the Bourbon Ball, Oaks Brunch and Holidazzle. 

The admission fees for non-members to view the exhibitions are as follows:

General Admission - $5.00

Seniors and Military - $4.00

Children Under 12 and Students with ID – Free

Groups of 10 or more - $3.00 each

*If one or more of the galleries are closed due to transitioning exhibitions or a private event, admission will be half price for the day.

** Admission to the Gallery Shop is always free.

The mission of the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft is to support and promote art and craft excellence in Kentucky through:

 ·        Educational outreach to Kentuckiana schools

·        Four Exhibition Galleries featuring Kentucky, regional, national and international artists

·        A Permanent Collection Gallery

·        A Gallery Shop representing hundreds of Kentucky artists

·         Professional development and scholarships for artists

The Museum, founded in 1981 as a nonprofit organization, is supported in part by the Fund for the Arts and the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency of the Commerce Cabinet, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
